To see if he was normal or not; here is what I found on Mercola.com

As soon as you turn on that light you will for that night immediately cease all production of the important sleep aid melatonin….”
So we ARE supposed to sleep in total darkness – wonder why I dont mind the light a little bit? Must be because I need to drink water in the middle of the night – Then go to the bathroom – then look up why my toddler cried – and horrors! stub my toe on the toy that I couldnt see on the floor and yell so loud my husband puts the light on anyway! Well if you can do it I say go for it!
